Here It Is!!! 2012 Planning Binder!!!

I just can't express how excited I am about this project! I've been working like crazy to get a whole bunch of free printables into your hands! I know many of you jumped on the binder bandwagon last March when Jen issued her binder challenge. I was planning my own binder for next year, and I thought, why not open it up to all my readers? I love a good challenge, and I think you all do, too!

Having a planning binder has been sooo fantastic. It helps keep my life just that much more organized. Even though I don't have a family to plan for, I can still be a planning maniac and stay somewhat insane! Customizing my own planning binder has been way better than a store bought planner ever was. I never found one I really liked! And certainly not one that met my exact needs. My planning binder does all that and more.

So if you haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet, perhaps this is your chance! I will strive to make this easy for you to do. All you need is a plain, 3-ring binder, and a printer! I will try to have lots of different printables available. Here are a few to get us started!

I am all about color, so the above printables are just my style. However, you might be more of the black and white variety, or very likely you want to conserve your printer ink. So here are some black and gray versions! (Is it "grey" or "gray"? I never could determine.)

Here is how to make these babies your own. Leave me a comment on this post telling me which printables you want. Be sure to include your email address! As soon as I get your comment I will shoot you an email with the pdf files. Then all you have to do is print them out! Easy peasy! And just so you know, the ones I send you won't say "preview" across them. Just letting you know.

I have some more printables in the works, but I need your help. What printables would you like to include in your binder? This is all about YOU and customizing the binder to fit YOUR needs, so I need to hear what you would like to see offered! Leave a comment with your suggestions, and I will do my best to create a set of printables you will love. So far, am I working on a monthly calendar, a week-at-a-glance sheet, a list of goals and a place to keep track of your accounts, passwords, and login information. What else can we come up with?

I am so excited to see who is going to create their binder with me! At the end, we'll have a big linky party so we can see everyone's creations. Because there is nothing like seeing each other's binders to keep us motivated.

If you'd like to stay updated on all things planning binder, and possibly get to see some sneak previews, there are several ways you can follow me: Click here for Facebook, here for Twitter, and here for Pinterest. I am working on getting these links in my sidebar, but they haven't all happened yet, clearly. I would love to see you all on there! (Seriously, do you Pinterest yet? I lurve it!) If you do want to be my "friend" on Facebook, just send me a little note when you send a friend request, stating that you are a blog reader. I typically don't just friend "anybody" I don't know. Thanks, I can't wait to meet you all!

Do you already have a planning binder? How does your binder help you?

  1. Here's just a few ideas for more lists you can create:) I use these very often.
    1. Basic grocery list (things bought every week)
    2. Grocery list (beyond basic)
    3. Weekly or monthly menu (could probably use the calendar for that)
    4. List of all recipes a person uses(including list of ingredients for each)
    5. Recipes to try
    6. Christmas/Birthday gift ideas or purchases
    7. Housecleaning schedule
    8. Family's clothes sizes

I prefer having a purse-sized planning notebook, since I keep so much info in it that I might need when I'm out and about. Right now I just use a small notebook with a pocket calendar tucked in the front. I like having one place for all my lists--very helpful, and I don't have little pieces of paper lying around:) I am also a list maniac!:)
