I didn't grow up in a family that had a zillion movies. We had a decent amount, mostly Disney, and we primarily watched them when one of us was sick or it was a rainy or snowy day. I personally think my mom let us watch movies on a snowy day to help ease the fact that, as homeschoolers, we didn't get "snow days." It didn't work. I'm still bitter. :)
But regardless of the fact that I was a deprived child, you may or may not have a lot of movies, but isn't it nice to keep them organized? That is hard to do when kids get a hold of them, so how about a easy way to keep track of the movies that you have?
Here are three different styles of list to help YOU keep track of your movies:
This one would most likely be for the family with lots of movies. You may even need to print off more than one sheet. :) Nothing wrong with that!
This one is for the family that doesn't own many movies, so I threw books on there, too. This would be a good one to list the books and movies you want to buy, as well! Pretty sure all the books I own would take up 50,000 sheets like this. Yeah, I like books. You could also use this list for books and movies that you have rented. The title could go on the first line and the return date could go on the second line. You could laminate it (or put it in a plastic sleeve) and use it again and again! Don't you just love lists that can multi-task?
And here is one for those of us in the dark ages *ahem* that still have old Disney VHS movies. :) Hey, if they still work, why mess with a good thing? This way, if you find a DVD of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at a garage sale, you can check your list and see that you only have it on VHS. All VHS will wear out sometime, ya know. See, I'm saving you money. You can thank me later.
And of course, these printables also come in a Black and White version....
...and I'm trying something different...this is a "low color" version. (I'm still trying to think of a better name....let me know if you think of anything catchy.) Each one is primarily black and grey with a pop of color. Just for fun!
I hope they are useful! Let me know if there is a different style that would be better suited to your needs.

***BTW, I was totally kidding when I said I was deprived as a homeschooler. I am so incredibly thankful that I was homeschooled and wouldn't have traded it for anything. Just so you are clear on that.
I would like the black and white version of the dvd's and books list please!!! My email is ksr.organizing@gmail.com
