Have you heard of this event? It is called "31 Days" and is hosted by the beautiful Nester. I've always loved reading other blogger's 31 Days series, and secretly wished I was talented enough to do my own. Well, talented or not, I've decided to join in!
I'm part thrilled to pieces...and part scared to death. What if I don't make it all 31 days? What if no one reads my posts? What if I sound like I don't have a clue what I'm talking about?
If I kept focusing on those hiccups, I'd probably never do it. But instead, I decided to just bite my lip, grit my teeth and do it! And I'm so excited about how the month will play out!
Oh wait, did you want to know what I'm gabbing about all next month?
That is all I'm saying. You'll have to come back Tuesday (actually late Monday night..its a time zone thing) to hear my thoughts and get introduced to this fabulous topic!! I hope you learn something from it...because I'm pretty sure I will!
Why am I telling you all this now?
Because this opportunity can benefit you as well! Read on..
First, I'd love to know topics that you would like to see covered. This will by no means be an exhaustive list of posts on the subject, but if you have a particular sewing question or hurdle you are trying to get around, would you let me know? I already have all my posts planned out for the month, but they are subject to change. {wink!} I'd love to know what needs of yours I can meet!
Do you, or have you ever, blogged on sewing, crafting, or the like? Let me know...I'd love to link up to you, as a way of providing my readers with lots of resources throughout this series! It is no secret that I am not an expert in this particular topic. I do have some knowledge which I am going to try to get across to you, but I am also looking to link to other blogs and posts on these subjects as well!
Do you have a sewing/crafting blog? Lets swap buttons! Chances are, new people will be visiting my blog through the Nester's site. {at least, that is the plan!} You can reach a new audience by having your button in my sidebar! In return, I ask that you put my button {the one I showed you above} in your sidebar so your readers can follow along and contribute to the month's posts.
Lastly: Do you want an even bigger chance of being seen? I'm selling special ad space just for this series - a large button {300x300} for just $5! Contact me if you are interested. This offer is open to anyone, not just those that have sewing/crafting blogs. Anything that fits the overall theme of my blog is welcome; however, I reserve the right to refuse ads that I don't believe will be consistent with my theme.
If you are interested in partnering with me for this series, leave me a comment or contact me and let me know how you'd like to participate.
I'm over-the-moon excited, and hope you are too! I'll be waiting to hear from you...and see you Tuesday!
So excited for you! I know this will be a lot of work but I'm sure it will pay off in the end!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky! It will be more work, but I think it will be fun, too! =)
